Do I need an appointment to meet with you and discuss an order?

How much will a monument cost?
Prices vary for each monument that we produce. We try to ensure that our quote includes all the necessary fees, however, prices are subject to change based on circumstances that are out of our control, such as the price of material or changes in regulations. We try to ensure ahead of time that your monument meets the regulations of the cemetery. We try and handle all of the behind the scenes work in order to help make the process less stressful and more simple for you.

Do you install monuments all year long?
Winter months can be difficult to install monuments due to the frozen ground, snow, and unpredictable weather. We do not currently install monuments or engrave letters at the cemetery during the winter months, however, we do still engrave and have our showroom open during the winter. We continue to take orders and produce all design-work throughout the winter, then we can finish the installation and engraving of existing monuments once spring comes and the weather is in our favor.
Can my monument get stained by anything?
Be cautious of anything that you put on the monument/memorial as it could ultimately leave a stain, of which we may not be able to remove, such as wax, oil, or wire. Do not place anything on your memorial that could freeze or melt. Do not use any harsh or acidic cleaners on the memorial as it could effect the appearance and texture of the stone which cannot be remedied later. If you choose to try and clean the stone yourself, ensure that the water you use does not have any rust in it. We do provide cleaning and restoration services to stone monuments.
Though Granite is strong and resilient, it is still porous. Do not place anything on your memorial that could freeze or melt. Those processes could result in a stain on your stone.
At Seacoast Memorials, we provide cleaning and restoration services for stone monuments and memorials. To avoid any uncertainty about cleaning the stone yourself, feel free to ask us about these services. We are happy to assist you!
